James Allen once said “a man sooner or later discovers that he is the master-gardener of his soul, the director of his life.” As an aspiring teacher I look forward to making a change in at least one or more of our student’s lives. Right now I am studying to become an educator in the special education department where there is a need for teachers who are willing to help our special needs students. As a paraprofessional, I try to lend my services to those students and teachers who are in need of my services. Also I lend a helping hand in the lunchroom, making sure that all of our students enjoy a safe and relaxing lunch period. I believe that all of our scholars should take advantage of the opportunities that our great leaders have fought for, so this is why I make it my business to lend my experiences and advice to any student who is in need of it. My ears and my mind are always open to the students as well as their problems, experiences and thoughts.
